Royal Greenwich Integrated Commissioning are recruiting for three Strategic Commissioning and System Development Leads to join our Health and Adult Services workforce for the portfolio areas of:

  • Learning Disability Partnerships
  • Mental Health & Complex care inc Physical Disability partnerships
  • Transitions and Autism across Children's and Adult's

Royal Greenwich is a borough synonymous with first class modern services and rich in history. Woolwich is undergoing an exciting transformation, with major regeneration projects underway, including the redesign of key public spaces, the creation of over 5,000 new homes, the revitalisation of historic sites like the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich Works and a new Leisure centre which will replace the Waterfront Leisure centre. With improved transport links (e.g. the Elizabeth line), as well as new retail, and cultural facilities, Woolwich is fast becoming a vibrant and connected hub.

We are looking for system leaders with experience in co-producing services with communities, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and a desire to make a difference in Greenwich. You will represent both the Council and NHS as an integrated Commissioner. Through developing strong partnerships and utilising appropriate governance structures, you will lead the commissioning of high-quality services that support Greenwich people to lead healthy, fulfilling, and independent lives.

Among other duties, the postholder will lead on a specific portfolio area and ensure strategic development, clear priorities and targets for achievement that improve the lives of local residents. Working collaboratively with the market, residents and colleagues across the system, you will implement transformational change through commissioning for outcomes, including further integration of health, care, and other forms of support. You will have responsibility for delivering all commissioning activities in high value projects in your chosen portfolio area.
