This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Educational Psychologist to join an established and highly valued Community Educational and Child Psychology team; we are expanding and evolving to meet the demands and needs of a diverse population.
The role
This Specialist Senior Educational and Child Psychologist’s post provides the opportunity for an experienced EP to take the lead in a of range of service initiatives relating to your area of specialism that we will negotiate with you.
This may include leading project work and developing models of training, support and good practice. You will also support existing pathways and projects pertaining to your area of specialism. You will be supported to undertake CPD linked to your area of specialism in order to further enhance the progression of the team and service.
All SSEPS in Sandwell are also required to support the supervision of Trainee Educational Psychologists as part of our team supervision framework.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, ambitious, highly skilled and knowledgeable Educational Psychologist who is able to maintain excellent delivery of service to schools as well as using their specialist knowledge skills at a whole service and strategic level.

Requirements
- Degree in Psychology recognised by British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Post graduate qualification in Educational Psychology (recognised by BPS).

33.5 hours per week
