We recently began the journey to transform our Property, Facilities, Health & Safety team and are looking for an exceptional construction professional with significant experience in delivering construction projects and programme across a large complex portfolio, ideally in local government.
You and your team of Property Business Partners will work closely with senior leaders translating service need into asset management planning and implementation business cases.
Providing leadership and direction to a multi-disciplinary team supporting delivery of the council’s capital projects and programmes. Fostering collaboration, promoting new ways of working, as well as delivering excellence in customer service.
You will be the day-to-day commercial custodian of our professional services contract working to protect the councils’ commercial position through effective contract, financial and project management.
Acting as the lead facilitator of professional services ensuring capital projects have the resources required to succeed. Applying yours and the team’s technical knowledge to problem solve contractual and commercial issues holding contractors and partners to account.
