Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Delivery Manager to join the Transforming Cities Fund (TCF) team. The successful candidate will coordinate and manage the delivery of major transport schemes as part of the Region's TCF programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, design, procurement, and implementation of transport schemes within the North Yorkshire elements of Leeds City Region’s Transforming Cities Fund programme.
- Work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.
- Monitor and report on the progress of schemes, managing consultants and budgetary control.
- Liaise with district council partners, external stakeholders, and senior managers to ensure successful programme delivery.
Requirements:
- Strong project management skills, particularly within transport or infrastructure projects.
- In depth knowledge of relevant guidance and legislation.
- Strong leadership and people management experience.
- Ability to manage statutory procedures, budgets, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working with external partners, such as WYCA, Network Rail, and transport operators.

From the 1st April 2023 the eight district, borough and county councils in North Yorkshire merge to form the new Council, serving 611,000 residents.
