In this strategic role, you will lead our Adult Social Care and Prevention Directorate, bringing together prevention services, social work, internally delivered care services and our allied support functions, focusing on delivering high-quality adult social care and reducing health inequalities.

The Directorate comprises four pillars: Prevention; Quality, Strategy and Innovation; Care and Support; and Community Support, all working together to ensure residents enjoy longer, healthier lives and are able to live as independently as possible for as long as possible.

Key priorities include investing in local communities, embracing digital advancements and developing our approach to prevention. Your leadership will be crucial in preparing for CQC inspections and fostering engagement and co-production with our community.

We are looking for an experienced and inspirational strategic leader who is passionate about driving and leading the provision of excellent services for the residents of Newcastle.
