Taking our children’s services from good to great

Having progressed on a ground-breaking journey of improvement and transformation, the London Borough of Haringey is becoming increasingly known for its forward-thinking and ambitious outlook to the future. Every child in Haringey is at the heart of what we do and we aspire for them as our own. Whilst we take great pride in our progress and are delighted that our children’s services have been recognised as “Good” by Ofsted, we are continuously focused on improving services and driving better outcomes for our children and young people.

Working with a committed and ambitious team, you will have an opportunity to be at the forefront of delivering sustainable, whole-service improvement across safeguarding and social care. Reporting to the DCS, you will be crucial in leading outstanding quality of practice and embedding innovative, efficient, and cost-effective ways of working. You will be central to building and nurturing effective relationships with internal stakeholders and key strategic partners to take Haringey’s children’s services to the next level.

This is a crucial appointment for Haringey, covering a broad remit across children’s safeguarding and social care. This role is for someone who is aspirational for children and thrives in an enthusiastic, creative, and progressive environment.

If you love to drive change and make a real impact on children, then we would love to hear from you. To find out more and for a confidential conversation, call Chris Barrow (07437 839048), Zarvesha Rasool (07551 392696), or Anita Denton (07725 554802) at Tile Hill.
