We are an ambitious forward-thinking council operating within a single unitary county setting, employing over 90 staff and an annual budget of circa £5m.

You will be the council's Responsible Financial Officer, reporting directly to the Chief Executive, and an integral member of the Corporate Management Team. You'll directly manage four heads of services, responsible for Finance, Corporate Support, Communications and Customer Services and Democratic Services, with strategic responsibility for outsourced support services. You will be a qualified  chartered accountant; CIPFA, CIMA or equivalent, with significant management and leadership experience.
