Then we have the job for you! We are looking for a full-time Consultant in Public Health to join our friendly forward-thinking team.
Working with our knowledgeable and experienced Public Health team, we have an exciting opportunity to lead on children and young people’s public health, all age public mental health and suicide prevention, and health protection.
You will play a central role in our strengths-based approach to tackling inequalities and wider corporate responsibilities. In Northumberland tackling inequalities is one of the three corporate priorities and we have established a 20 year generational change mission. Working to a strengths-based model of asset-based community development (ABCD) we are also working with the Institute of Health Equity to ensure the Marmot eight policy objectives frame our partnership and system work.
We are looking for a consultant with excellent leadership and technical skills who can develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders across the public and VCSE sectors, including children and young people services, UK Health Security Agency, and with communities.
You must be on the UK Voluntary Register for Public Health Specialists or GMC or GDC Specialist Register, or within six months of obtaining CCT at the time of interview.
