Following a review of the Place Directorate and the subsequent creation of a new leadership team, we are now seeking two Assistant Directors and a number of other senior Management roles to join us and lead our services.

The role
Reporting to the Director of Housing, you’ll be responsible for resident satisfaction for the borough’s tenants, leaseholders, freeholders and commercial lettings.
Working with your services as well as with colleagues across the council and with a range of external partners and stakeholders, you’ll be in a key position to make a significant contribution towards the delivery of a variety of the council’s corporate objectives and will be tasked with:
- Increasing resident satisfaction and maximise income recovery from rents, leaseholder and service charges. Developing innovative tenancy management approaches for circa 4,800 multi-tenured housing types. Partnering with mental health service teams to develop solutions for vulnerable residents. Managing effective anti-social behaviour and community safety interventions to further improve community cohesion and ensure that residents feel safe.
Candidates
This role calls for an experience housing professional; the ability to working with elected members to deliver effective resident-focussed outcomes and high levels of satisfaction will be required for success.
