We have positioned the Finance service to ensure that it has the capacity and leadership required to deliver the excellent service that is needed and expected in order to achieve the Council’s future ambitions. This is a great opportunity to work at the heart of the organisation, making a real difference and playing a crucial role shaping the future of the Council.

A member of the Financial Services Management Team the post holder will lead the finance team providing high level finance business partnering advice and support to the Leadership Team and Service Managers within the Directorate for Adult Care, Housing and Public Health. 

The post holder will be responsible for delivery of a work programme jointly set by the Strategic Director - Adult Care, Housing and Public Health and the Strategic Director - Finance and Customer Services. The post holder reports to the Head of Finance – (Adult Care, Housing and Public Health).
