We've developed a new long-term vision with the help of residents and partner organisations, which will build on all our strengths to support health, wellbeing and independence.

Our vision for Health and Adults' Services 2021 to 2024 is: Working together to live the best life you can in Royal Greenwich.

Our ambition is for all of us to live well, by focusing on what matters to you, what you can do and your connections to the world around you.

At Royal Borough of Greenwich, we’re strong believers in empowering people and building on their strengths. Our strengths- based approach means our employees get more job satisfaction by enabling them to work alongside residents in an outcomes-focused way, using strengths-based, person-centred, and evidenced-based practice. We enjoy our work and ensure we deliver the best outcomes in a supported and nurturing environment.

This applies to our residents as well as our workforce.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Integrated Operations Manager for the Royal Greenwich and Oxleas Reablement Team. The Reablement Service has recently engaged in an extensive change management programme which has improved the team’s capacity, effectiveness, and demand for the service. The successful candidate will be a key player in ensuring that the changes implemented are sustained and that Reablement continues to be a Therapy Led service. You will also focus on developing new pathways into the service across Health and Adult Services.

You will report to the Service Manager (RBG) and will be responsible for overseeing the Management of the team in line with the service plan and associated standards.

You will have extensive experience of leading and ensuring the overall successful delivery of high-quality Reablement services which provides direct Reablement support to service users with a range of reablement needs in the community to maximise independence. You will provide effective leadership and management to the Team Manager within the service, to continue embed the principles of interdisciplinary working/reablement and cross skilling for all staff, including implementing the competency frameworks.

You will also have experience of delivering against key KPI’s and be adept in using electronic dashboards and tools to monitor the team’s performance and take the necessary corrective actions should this be required. Ideally you will have a Therapy background and have the necessary qualifications requisite for this role.
