An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Commissioning and Procurement Team for two highly motivated individuals to work as Commissioning Managers.
Our objective is to commission services which meet the identified needs of residents, deliver improved outcomes, achieve value for money and support the Council Plan.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for innovative and creative individuals with skills, knowledge, and experience in managing and delivering projects, who want to make a difference. You don’t need a background in commissioning, but you must have:
- great communication skills;
- the ability to lead partnership working with multiple internal and external stakeholders;
- excellent analytical skills to understand data trends, identify gaps in need and demand, then using the findings to plan and design services which deliver positive outcomes;
- a desire and ability to work collaboratively to effect change.
This is a high-profile role and will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside a range of people, both within the Council and from other agencies and key stakeholder groups. This is a real opportunity to see if a career in Commissioning is for you.
