Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will provide strategic direction and excellent overall leadership and management of services including Asset Strategy, Economic Development and Planning Development Management.

You will lead in relation to the operational elements of the emerging Mayoral Combined Authority with Hull City Council and deliver the council’s plans and strategies in relation to Economic Development, Coastal Management, Climate Change, Housing, Forward Planning and Transport Planning.

We seek an individual who is ambitious and passionate about service delivery.  You will have strong negotiation, financial management, communication and engagement skills and be able to play a key role as part of the council’s Corporate Leadership Team.
