- Manage (when necessary) the creation of plan schedules of works and contracts for the maintenance of all the clients properties. Attending site meetings and inspections, including pre and post repairs inspections.
- Manage the delivery of a multitude of works projects and values, such as Damp and Mould remediation, Depilation and Disrepairs, be that planned maintenance, responsive repairs or insourced contract delivery programmes.
- Ensure the cost effective allocation and deployment of sub-contractors and other resources to deliver the service to our clients agreed standards and targets.
- Effectively respond to customer enquiries in line with the appropriate customer care guidance and standards as required and /or undertake any follow up investigation related to the progress of their request, at all times ensuring services are delivered professionally with a clear customer focus.
- The Repairs & Maintenance Area Team Leader will also be responsible for contributing to the overall development, commercialisation, and reputation of the clients repairs and maintenance service.
What we need from you:
- An HNC/NVQ/City & Guilds Building qualification or relevant industry related qualification.
- Detailed knowledge of working practices, methods and techniques employed in the repair and maintenance of domestic properties: across a wide range of trades.
- Experience of highly effective communication skills with colleagues, managers, tenants and stakeholders.
- Strong management experience, including directly employed technical staff alongside external contracts and service providers.
- Knowledge and practical experience of using IT, including mobile technology.
- Evidence of a customer focused approach to service users.
- A confident, independent and effective decision maker.
