Following a recent promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Senior Leadership Team as a Corporate Services Group Manager and Monitoring Officer.
Working to the Executive Director of Communities, the post holder as part of our Senior Leadership Team will be in a key leadership role overseeing the Council’s Legal function, Democratic and Electoral services, Business Intelligence, Communications and Digital, Land Charges, Building Control, and Internal Audit services. This role will be the Council’s ambassador for Corporate Services having accountability for aligning their services with the Council’s vision, values, and strategic themes, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the Corporate Services operations.
As the Monitoring Officer you will have the responsibility to ensure that the Council, its officers, and its Elected Councillors, maintain the highest standards of conduct.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate, driven, and forward-thinking, who can work collaboratively with stakeholders to help us achieve our vision.

Assessment Centre Day at the Council Offices: 21 March 2024
Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a written exercise/test prior to the assessment centre day. The assessment centre will involve a series of exercises which you will be required to take part in.
