Traffic & Network Management – Minimising Disruption, Maximising Efficiency

Join our dynamic team at the forefront of ensuring seamless operations for the Council's highway network! As the leader of the Traffic & Network Management Team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating essential road and street works across the County, engaging proactively with works promoters to minimise disruptions to the public.

As the Traffic and Network Manager, you will lead the team and take charge of developing and managing policies and procedures, ensuring the efficient delivery of the Council's statutory Network Management Duty. Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing the performance of the Council's Permit Scheme for Road Works and Street Works, with full budgetary accountability.

We are seeking an accomplished candidate with substantial experience in Highways Network Management, holding registration as an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer. Your proven ability to lead and mentor a highly motivated team is crucial, and a solid understanding of local government procedures and policies is preferred.
