Who we are looking for
In this role, you will be responsible for the determination and management of the progression of early help referrals and complex work through the Multi Agency Early Help and Safeguarding Hub team in accordance with statutory and regulatory frameworks and practice standards.
You will be an experienced, empathetic, empowering, motivational and resilient professional in Children’s Social Care, with a breadth of understanding of all areas that the role covers. Working within a partnership, you will need to have excellent relationship skills along with a detailed understanding of the children’s social care system and the challenges facing Children’s Services both nationally and locally.

DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Children’s Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults and Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults and/or Children.
We are currently operating both in-person and virtual interviews. Options will be discussed with candidates once they have been invited to the interview stage of the process for this specific position, and if you have any concerns or adjustments are needed, we are happy to discuss.
If you are invited to a virtual interview, this will preferably be undertaken using the Microsoft Teams software, which is currently free for new users, however if there are any issues with accessing this technology, we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements prior to the interviews.
