Are you ready to join us and lead our capital regeneration projects delivery team who are delivering the vision in our Growth Strategy and supporting £1billion regeneration schemes in the borough? Chesterfield Borough Council is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Senior Operational Manager with a track record of success delivering complex regeneration schemes and working positively with people to improve the vitality of local places.

As a senior figure within our council, you'll, provide visionary leadership and a supportive working culture for the Joint Growth Unit who are a multi-disciplinary capital regeneration projects delivery team. You will use your wealth of capital delivery experience to give timely guidance and insight to support the best delivery of our multi-million pound portfolio of projects heading into their construction phase in the next 12 months – Revitalising the Heart of Chesterfield town centre improvements, Derbyshire Rail Industry Innovation Vehicle and the Staveley Towns Fund town centre improvements which include a landmark pavilion building. You will also be closely involved in the development and unlocking of a very wide range of exciting regeneration projects for delivery within master plans for the station area of Chesterfield and the Staveley growth corridor.
You will align your services with the council’s vision, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective delivery of the Joint Growth Unit operations and high-quality, customer-focused services that fall within allocated budgets and resources. You will work closely with the Service Director, addressing key issues and championing excellence in service delivery.
