The City of Lincoln Council are looking for an Assistant Director who has the passion and drive to help us realise our aspirations; someone who is not only capable of developing authority wide transformation plans, but also carrying them through and working collaboratively to get things done.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join the Chief Executives Directorate in an ambitious high performing organisation. Join us and lead on our commitment to professional, high performing service delivery and provide policy and strategic advice to the Council, its Members and Directors.
The post holder will have responsibility for Business Development and IT, Communications, Corporate Policy, and Customer Services. You must possess senior management experience and have a successful track record in delivery of high quality services. You will be qualified to degree level education, and/or evidence of continuous personal and professional development and possess highly developed communication skills.
Your strong work ethic and passion for improvement will mean you are a results-driven person who can also motivate others to get on board with our plans. As someone with management and leadership experience, you’ll understand how to delegate effectively and how to ensure others deliver for you in line with expectations. Your innovative thinking means you don’t get flummoxed by obstacles – as a problem-solver, you’ll always find a way forward.
