As a Director, you will join us right at the beginning of our journey, as we pursue a radical change programme to combine the resources of our organisations so that we can achieve more together for our communities. There is considerable scope and autonomy for you to influence the direction we take, to get us to where we need to be.

Reporting to the Strategic Director, you’ll provide expert Assets and Investment Services, working very closely with other divisions and our finance, legal and commissioning services to achieve the perfect balance between quality and value. You will drive investment and delivery strategy for new acquisitions as well as source and transform investment opportunities.

You will have significant post qualification experience gained in the public, private or voluntary sector, including experience of operating at Leadership Team level, working collaboratively to deliver the strategic commitments of both Council’s.  

You will be an inspirational, charismatic and motivating leader with a track record of promoting and delivering positive solutions to achieve diversity and equality of opportunity, you’ll also have the ability to understand the varying needs of your colleagues, find solutions to complex issues, and move quickly to develop contingency and mitigation strategies, understanding what it takes to create the  #oneteam.
