If you would like to work for one of Britain’s major statutory consultees, as part of a small and friendly team, this could be the job for you. The Planning team at the Coal Authority provide advice to around 180 local planning authorities across England, Scotland and Wales, so helping to ensure that the risks associated with historical coal mining are taken into account when new development is proposed. In turn this helps to ensure the stability of property and public safety.
