A creative and skilled Property Asset Principal to work within the Property Review Team in Asset Management at Lancashire County Council.

Your abundance of experience and knowledge in the industry will permit you to breeze into this role effortlessly and allow you to make your mark straight away. You will lead your team with finesse, guiding them to gather, manage and manipulate data related to our premises accurately, illustrating the portfolio. It is vital that your decision making, and critical thinking is first class, ensuring the desired results are reached in a timely manner. We want a professional who not only understands strategic property requirements of Local Government, but also has excellent knowledge of the requirements for, and limitations of, the county council's premises information. Your experience will also extend to working in a political environment, coupled with an understanding of how public services operate.

Inspirational – you will need to take everything in your stride identifying the key priorities and scheduling your workload accordingly – we want you to lead the way, engaging and inspiring in every aspect of your work, guiding and managing your multi-disciplinary team effectively – you will encourage and support tasks such as self-assessment benchmarking of the council's premises data, presenting findings constructively – this will contribute towards the strategic planning of our property portfolio – by being adaptable and resilient you will be able to adjust to changes with ease, modifying your strategy to reach the necessary goal – your attention to detail will allow you to make sense of complicated data, translating complex details into straightforward information that is easy to understand

Resilient and Strategic – your strong leadership will empower your team, motivating them to follow your way of working with enthusiasm and a positive attitude – we need you to have flawless communication skills being able to articulate yourself effectively with senior managers and members both in person or through your presentation of premises data, which will support and enable decision making – your previous experience will mean you are highly skilled in critical analysis, being able to problem solve creatively – you will have already had success in managing complex issues and requirements and be able to display your passion and drive for achieving the best possible results

Innovative – your innovative flair will ensure ultimate success for the council, putting your background and understanding the complexity of such a wide-ranging property portfolio and associated data to good use – you will be tackling various issues on a daily basis and will need to adapt in our changing environment, putting methods in place to develop our reporting and monitoring processes, as well as supporting property reviews – your skills and substantial contribution to our organisation will enable us to continue on our journey for significant development and change – join us and make a remarkable difference to the public sector's property projects!
