An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEN professional to take up post as Lead for SEND in North Yorkshire County Council. This is a permanent full-time post. This post involves playing a leading role in leading performance and practice improvement across the SEND Casework Team, and embedding robust quality assurance processes to drive continuous improvement.
The key deliverables within this role are:
· Establishing strong collaborative approaches across all stakeholders to transform approaches in inclusions and ensuring a strong culture of inclusion and resilience in meeting the needs of children and young people with additional needs.
· Ensuring compliance and high quality performance and practice in terms of SEND, ensuring robust planning for further development to improve outcomes.
· Ensuring the SEND commissioned services are delivered within required standards and provide high quality and cost effective provision for children and young people.
This is a county-wide post, and the post-holder will be working in a hybrid model with the requirement to attend in-person meetings on a regular basis at different locations across the county.
