Cumbria County Council has a unique and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join us as a Senior Manager Cumbria Care.

About the role

The successful candidate will be taking on a role that is a key part of the senior management team and will be supporting the Assistant Director for Provider Services to develop and enhance our provision of Care responding to market demands and service user needs.

As one of the Senior Managers for Cumbria Care you will be required to contribute to the development of integrated corporate strategies and planes as well as leading the implementation of transformational change both within and outside your area of responsibility. The ideal person for this role will be able to develop and build effective partnerships and encourage collaborative working with stakeholders Health partners and the communities around Cumbria whilst maintaining a focus and drive on maintaining and improving the quality of our provision.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has significant experience at Senior Manager Level from an area of Services for Adults within either Social Care Health Voluntary sector or a multi-agency environment. Experience of successfully managing a specific area of services such as Older People or Mental health is especially desirable. Also experience of managing a wide diverse and geographically spread workforce is vital.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check with a Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults.
