Job Details

Lead complex growth in the most exciting borough in London.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is proud to be home to several internationally recognised landmarks, including the Cutty Sark, National Maritime Museum, London’s cable car, Greenwich Park and The O2 Arena. Whilst our vibrant and multi-cultural borough already has a lot to offer to our residents, we won’t stop there. We have an ambitious programme of regeneration planned over the next five years to bring new homes, jobs and investment to the borough to ensure every single person in Greenwich has the opportunity to thrive.

We now seek a Head of Regeneration to lead on the delivery of a complex programme of major schemes, including the £17.5m regeneration of Woolwich town centre, the delivery of a £300m development scheme in Woolwich Exchange and our flagship programme, the regeneration of Plumstead Power Station.

As Head of Regeneration, you’ll lead a growing team with a strong track record in setting out a bold vision, attracting funding and delivering complex urban change in iconic locations. You’ll also be part of a broader place-based team who share your commitment to ensuring the benefits of growth help those facing greatest need. This is a role that blends delivery and strategy, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in both modes.

We’re investing in the team and building capacity to deliver on our immediate (and funded) priorities, including a £100m+ investment programme. If you are an experienced regeneration specialist with a passion for delivering great outcomes for local people, then we want to hear from you.

For a confidential discussion, contact Helen Anderson (07534 602845) or Clare Connor (0161 408 0703) at Tile Hill.
