Street Works Team

Senior Engineer (Street Works Coordination)

As a Senior Engineer (Street Works Coordination) within the Street Works team, you will have significant experience of working in a role that involves Street Works and Network Coordination bringing technical knowledge and skills, together with an understanding of relevant procedures to assist with the co-ordination of streetworks and highway regulation. 

You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991 and the Highways Act 1980 and will use the powers contained within the legislation on a daily basis.  In addition you will have knowledge of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and will lead a team of 6 FTE’s ensuring that the Doncaster Permit Scheme operates efficiently and continues to deliver benefits to all road users.

Dealing with members of the public and working with and engaging stakeholders on a daily basis, you will have the appropriate communication skills to pass information and advice easily.
