We are an ambitious council with a clear forward plan and a strong commitment to talking climate change, securing investment in a truly inclusive economy, addressing health inequalities and deprivation, and enabling our residents, businesses and partners to play their part in shaping the future.

Our highways and transport networks represent the council's largest physical asset and with a road network of approximately 2,300 kilometres (including 3 Roman Roads), the City Walls in Chester and numerous public rights of way we're re-aligning how our infrastructure plays its part in our case for change.
