An exciting opportunity has arisen within Northumberland Adolescent Service; a permanent contract for the role of Safeguarding Team Manager within our 14+ & 18+ Team.  Essential to this post is the Social Work qualification as you will be required to oversee other service areas in the absence of other Managers during annual leave.  You will have the drive and determination to contribute to the future development of the Service, improving performance and ensuring quality in the delivery of our work. 

You must have proven management skills, experience of working within a safeguarding setting, management experience that reflects your ability to lead, develop and support a team of social workers and leaving care support work staff. You should have experience of working with young people with a variety of needs and a proven ability to improve outcomes. The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues from partner agencies is a key skill for achieving success in this role.
