The Role

Bolton is known for its teamwork, and we’re looking for someone exceptional to join the team.  We’ve just completed a review of the strategy that we’ll deliver as partners in Bolton, and of our supporting strategy as a Council.  We have ambitious goals, and a new approach to change that is going to need leadership.  As our Strategy Delivery Manager, you will provide dedicated capacity to establish and support delivery teams.  You’ll also support our strategy leadership to develop new ways of working at a crucial time.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable and has experience with turning ambiguity into clarity, and who is able to take responsibility for leading significant change across organisations.  You’ll need to be able to build positive working relationships with people from different backgrounds, across our range of brilliant partners.

The Strategy and Partnerships Team at Bolton Council are at the forefront of the change agenda for the council and its partners   Building on our strong reputation for delivery, we are currently driving the reset of the multi-agency Bolton 2030 Vision and a modern placed leadership approach for the Council’s Corporate Plan.  Our next step is to take this strong strategy into strong delivery as all of our work is focused on delivering better outcomes for our residents.
