Qualifications: Must have a Social Work Qualification and registered with Social Work England. Applicants must hold a full, current and valid driving licence and a vehicle with a current valid MOT certificate. You must also hold adequate vehicle insurance.
The Role
The post holder will lead on the quality assurance activities relating to social work and social care practice, helping the service understand the impact and outcomes of current practice using a range of methodologies to evaluate performance.
The postholder will work closely with the Principal Social Worker and other managers to improve the experience of children and young people in Bolton, including presenting findings and sharing of information.
The post holder will play a key role in the performance board working along side senior management teams and will have a good understanding of data and data interpretation making links with regional data.
This will be an important part of the services improvement journey and will provide opportunities to undertake activities supporting the service to make the changes necessary to embed lessons learnt and regularly reflect on and update the quality assurance tools and approaches used to promote organisational learning
About You
You will be an experienced Social Worker with broad and detailed knowledge regarding both fields of child protection and children looked after and be experienced and be confident in presenting information in a range of forums both in written and oral presentations.
You must have a clear understanding of multi-agency working in partnership and be focused on ensuring timely and good quality services are being provided to the children and young people you are working with.
