As part of our Senior Leadership Team, you will also play your part in leading our exciting journey to become a more diverse, inclusive, flexible and agile organisation ready to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.

ABOUT YOU

The vast scope of this role makes it clear we are looking for someone with an impressive background. This could mean you already hold a high-profile role in local government or a public sector body. You might bring private sector expertise from another relevant industry. Similarly, you may have helped navigate the Covid-19 pandemic with originality and imagination.

What really matters is who you are and how you work. With this in mind, we have an extensive shopping list.

An inclusive, authentic and inspirational leader with the emotional intelligence and credibility to influence. Outstanding commercial acumen that understands how to balance quality with value. A significant track record of making complex projects run smoothly, you will also have exceptional partnership-building capabilities, underpinned by the ability to get things done.

Drive. Energy. Passion. This is a demanding brief with enormous scope to make changes that matter. It calls for someone with the talent to turn its potential into a difference that counts.
