Our new Executive Director for Adult Social Care & Integrated Commissioning will be responsible for developing the strategy to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of Surrey’s residents, maintaining the focus on improvement and prevention and early intervention strategies. A key focus will be to lead health and social care integration, providing the expertise to support the council in its shift towards a place-based, outcome driven model and progressing this work at pace to deliver both service and efficiency gains.
Surrey is a large, forward-thinking county with huge ambition for our residents and for the integration of social care and health. We need a passionate and inspiring leader who can confidently steer us through complexity to reshape, innovate and improve health and care for our residents. You will lead and refocus services, reaping the benefits of what will be one of the most significant integration agendas in the UK. This is an incredibly important and exciting time for health and care nationally, and you will ensure Surrey is at the fore, driving transformation and pushing us beyond the ideas of yesterday to turn aspiration in to reality.
