Reporting directly to the Director of Public Health and working closely as a key member of the senior leadership teams in the Council and its partner organisations, you will help to drive forward this vision. As Deputy Director of Public Health you will be helping our successful and ambitious council to meet the challenges associated with the Covid 19 pandemic, whilst delivering our vision for a healthy Solihull, reducing inequalities in health outcomes, preventing avoidable ill-health and protecting local communities from public health hazards.

This broad, exciting and innovative role will offer an ambitious Public Health professional the opportunity to develop their career and make a real impact. We are seeking to appoint a visionary and motivational system- leader, with a proven track record of public health success as a Public Health Consultant and extensive experience of partnership working.
