About the role

Together with the Strategic Director Resident Services and working with Strategic Director and Director colleagues, you’ll develop and deliver Lambeth’s Digital, ICT and Customer Access Strategy (including the digital roadmap). Taking a holistic approach to change, you’ll focus on the digital outcomes for the transformation of Lambeth to become a digital, customer-focused centre of excellence.

We’ll look to you to keep us all connected. Yes, you must live and breath tech and be up to speed with the latest digital developments. But more important is a broader understanding of how to engage with local communities to deliver a highly innovative and outstanding digital experience for our residents.

About you

It’s a role that takes someone who can draw upon and get the best out of all areas across the council. So you’ll need to be an influential and experienced leader to get everyone on board. You don’t need to be a digital expert, but you will need experience of digitising processes and a proactive, can-do attitude when it comes to driving through change.  Above all, you’ll bring a collaborative approach to developing solutions and improving services for all.
