About the Role

This position is key to driving change and transformation across the whole council and will operate as Programme Director of all significant change management activity.

The post holder will spearhead the major change programmes for the Corporate Plan, culture, continuous improvement, Lean, structure, diversity programmes, ICT projects including the Oracle Fusion projects, Digital Newham and Smarter Working.  The post holder will also ensure that our corporate transformation activity supports and enables our Children's Services Improvement and Adult Social Care and Health transformation to deliver improved outcomes for our residents. 

About the Person

We are looking for a talented individual with the energy and enthusiasm to complete a brand-new leadership team that together will deliver innovative services, places and improve the lives of the residents and people that make up the vibrant communities of Newham. 

To be successful in this position you will need to work collaboratively across all directorates at various levels, working with The Mayor, Members, the Chief Executive, Corporate Directors, and internal and external stakeholders.
