The role
Our focus on prevention and promoting independence in Adult Services has been successful in supporting residents to remain in their homes and we know that nothing less than genuine collaboration and partnership working will deliver high-quality services. We have transformation programmes to integrate services with health partners well underway including reablement and therapeutic services, and locality based multi-disciplinary teams to target support where it’s needed most.

There is lots to get excited about in Sutton and we are looking for a new Assistant Director who recognises that the social wellbeing of the borough can be achieved by deepening and strengthening relationships beyond the Council. Your desire to play a leadership role spanning organisational boundaries will lie at the heart of your success in leading a service touching the lives of so many residents.

Your background and proven track record in adult social care will be enhanced by your exceptional financial and political nous and you will be keen to join an organisation that thrives on challenging each other to be the best that we can be.

You will also hold a recognised professional social work qualification.
