You will lead our housing service, taking ownership of housing strategy and management and working across the city to deal with the challenges of homelessness and rough sleeping as well driving forward our pledge to build 1000 new Council Homes by 2025.  You will encourage community cohesion and engagement, bring together our public protection services and increase community participation in culture and leisure, championing our City of Culture 2025 bid.
