Two years after the Grenfell tragedy we are changing our whole culture to put the needs of communities first and better engage with our residents, especially those who live in more deprived parts of the borough. We are now reorganising our senior team to look at creative and imaginative ways of generating more social and affordable housing and maximising benefits for all of our communities.

As Director of Planning you will feel excited by our social investment agenda and the role that you can play in ensuring that we use our land and assets more innovatively. You will lead on both strategic policy and the operational aspects of the planning service in a borough that contains a huge array of listed buildings, high profile public spaces and significant planning applications. You will bring an excellent working knowledge of planning and development at a senior level but your interest will be drawn towards the community benefits that you can realise.
