About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Property, acting as the Corporate Landlord, the postholder will lead the Estates Management function with direct responsibility for all day to day property matters including leasing, disposals, acquisitions and the management of the Council’s investment portfolio generating c.£2.5m per annum.
The postholder will support the development and implementation of the Council’s Asset Strategy through the identification and assessment of opportunities to rationalise, release or develop Council property as well as supporting consideration of investment within the Council’s existing portfolio, including through acquisitions, to meet service objectives.
