This is an excellent opportunity to join Camden in a stimulating role focused on delivering research and evidence for our channel strategy, developing our channels including social media and Camden’s resident magazine four times a year.

This role is key to delivering our Communications Strategy and provides the lead for making sure we deliver evidence-based communications activity through a robust Channel Strategy.  Duties include creating and publishing content in all Council channels including publications, digital and social media, managing the online content strategy and intranet, ensuring produced content is integrated across all communications channels and working with the senior manager to explore new and innovative channels of communication.

The right person will have a degree level qualification or equivalent work experience. You will have a wide range of communications experience and knowledge of channels including digital, media, marketing and advertising. You will also have a strong track record developing and measuring an evidence base for a Communications Strategy and Channel Strategy.

You will be able to demonstrate strong account management, project management and service planning skills, and have a good understanding of compliance with the Local Government Code of Publicity for publications.

Comfortable and confident engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
