Section 151 Officer

Part time (Salary will be pro rata for 2.5 days pw)

Now we are recruiting for a Section 151 Officer (Responsible Finance Officer). With exceptional standards of professional practice and governance the successful applicant will lead the Council’s Financial Strategy and Financial Governance, provide advice to key decision makers to ensure compliance with all financial, statutory and constitutional requirements. The post holder will require extensive financial leadership experience, with strategic vision and a UK chartered accountancy body qualification. Commercial acumen and experience of financial governance of Commercial developments within the public sector would be an advantage.
