… you will provide the Council with the commercial and property market acumen it needs to deliver a growing portfolio of investments in the property market and increased income to support the growth of Council services.

Reporting to the Chief Executive you will seek opportunities for inward investment and for us to invest in property for commercial and social benefit, as well as advising us on where we could adopt a commercial approach to other areas of the Council's business.

You'll be highly adept at creating strong and effective networks at local, regional and national level. As well as being an excellent negotiator, you'll have a proven track record in identifying projects that have been delivered to improve local places and investment opportunities which generate sustainable income through resilient property portfolios.

Making sure the Council gains maximum benefit for the District from section 106 and CIL contributions, you will also identify opportunities for and advice to the Council's wholly owned companies, Quercus 7 and Quercus Housing.
