The successful candidate will lead an innovative change programme to reshape our town and workforce to ensure that we are ready for the challenge of supporting our ambitious growth agenda. Working alongside our communities, partners, and elected members, the Chief Executive Officer will strive to ensure tomorrow’s Stevenage is ground-breaking and future-proofed. As a co-operative council, we are committed to continuous improvement for and with our local communities and the successful candidate will provide strong, collaborative, visible, strategic leadership for this agenda. Acting as an advocate for the Council, Stevenage town and as a key aspect of the county of Hertfordshire, the successful candidate will influence at a strategic level to ensure the best possible outcomes are delivered for our communities.
This role will also act as Electoral Registrations Officer and Returning Officer for Stevenage Borough Council.
