Job Details
Lead the united borough of Brent
Ours is a borough like no other. A place where vibrant, contrasting cultures shine. Where there’s the chance to transform the landscape through leading-edge regeneration so communities can thrive. A borough that strives towards a vision of culture, empathy, and shared prosperity, by standing together as one. Here, diversity is seen as a strength and talent is free to grow.
We need to be as close as possible to the people we serve every day. That means making sure they have easy, direct access to the Council and its services. As Director of Customer Access, you’ll take charge of customer access arrangements, leading strategic development and upholding the customer experience at all times. It’s a chance to manage a portfolio of high-performing services and instil an innovative, change-friendly culture.
Only a proven senior leader will be ready for this role. You should have a track record of achievement and experience of delivering customer-focused services. Degree-qualified (or equivalent), you’ll have worked in a large, diverse, customer-centric organisation before, where you’ll have tackled planning, worked with partners and provided sound financial management. Collaborative, influential and well organised, you’ll set direction and bring improvement through exciting change initiatives.
Ready to join a council that expects high standards of integrity and professionalism? If so, we’ll give you the chance to change an extraordinary piece of London for the better.
