As the birthplace of the co-operative movement, Rochdale Borough Council is committed to working closely with partners and communities to improve the lives of local people. Our vision is to make our borough a great place to grow up, get on and live well through our strategic priorities of people, place and prosperity.
We are seeking to fill a new role – Corporate Strategic Lead for Transformation & Reform. Given all the challenges and opportunities facing local government, this is a really exciting time to join Rochdale Brough Council. You will need to work closely with senior colleagues to develop new ways of delivering services as well as make links across GMCA to support and implement the broader public service reform agenda. You will have the chance to recruit and grow your own team and develop the role, and we are seeking candidates with strong influencing skills, commercial acumen, and a proven track record in public sector transformation and reform. (This is a two year fixed term with the possibility of extension.)
