Assistant Director Strategic Finance

Salary: £82,624 - £107,878 plus relocation

The Role

Lincolnshire County Council is looking for a sound strategic financial leader to join our senior team, acting as a deputy to the director of resources.

This is a wide-ranging role in an ambitious, well-performing and large local authority and could be the perfect next step in your career.

To give you a flavour of what’s on offer:

• You will lead on development and implementation of the council’s budget and policy frameworks including financial and risk management strategies.
• You will work closely with the director of resources to ensure the effective delivery of internal audit, risk and insurance services, advising the pensions committee on investment ideas in support of the council’s business plan.
• You will play a key part in influencing agendas both locally and nationally and increasing inward investment.

As a CCAB (or equivalent) qualified accountant with experience in a large multi-disciplinary organization, you will be the go-to person for technical advice and work with external advisors on a wide range of projects.
