Our new Director of Commissioning will work closely with the five Clinical Commissioning Groups, three Strategic Transformation Partnerships and five Acute Trusts across the County as well as colleagues across the council to identify and deliver excellent commissioning outcomes.

The scale of our budgets and services are immense and, with that, comes complexity yet the ability to do things very differently and reallocate resource. We are looking for an exceptional commissioner who can lead large-scale change programmes and who has worked successfully with partners to share resources. With a passion for data as well as a strong grip of what high quality operational delivery looks like, you’ll join a high-performing Departmental Leadership Team who are delivering services within budget yet share an ambition to innovate and take social care back out into our communities.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Adult Social Care, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of adult social care in one of the country’s largest local authorities.
