PROPERTY SERVICES MANAGER
Redditch Borough Council
£50,000 per annum (including a market supplement of £5,303)
37 hours per week
We’re creating a new Property Service and would like you to come and help us to shape it.
Having previously worked in partnership with other public sector organisations we are bringing this service back in house and we are looking for a property services professional to develop a new team and lead a transformation of the service.

You will be a strong manager who relishes a challenge, with experience in the sector, bringing fresh ideas and new approaches, whilst ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, delivering value for money through budgetary management and generating income.
You will lead a team delivering effective property, assets, estate and facilities management services for the Council across its portfolio of around 100 public buildings and commercial investment properties. As the Council’s lead property and asset management specialist, you will be expected to work with other organisations to ensure a strategic approach to public sector assets, and support the Council’s aims in respect of revenue generating development, investment and acquisition. With the health and safety of all the users of our land and buildings of paramount importance, you will have an excellent knowledge of statutory requirements. Above all, you need to deliver great customer service and be committed to service to the public.
