Director of Education Services

Salary Up to £119,500

Our vision is to make Enfield a better place to live and work, delivering fairness for all, growth and sustainability and strong communities. In the context of this role, this translates into enabling children and adults to reach their potential through access to quality education, skills and learning.

Moving forward, we are keen to develop new ways of working across the broader education partnership, creating a shared culture and vision which puts children and young people at its heart.

Our diverse borough and tapestry of education providers has enormous potential to inform new perspectives and fresh approaches to education development. With an innovative and engaging approach, you will forge strong partnerships across the borough, all working together with the Local Authority to drive up aspiration, ambition and successful outcomes for all, in all our educational establishments regardless of governance or structure.

Equally, you will be acutely aware of the significant challenges in improving outcomes and we will look to you to articulate a vision for a high-performing education system and a clear sense of how that will be applied to Enfield as a practical strategy to create clear pathways through to employment.

Enfield has developed a reputation of matching its ambition with a willingness to be innovative and forward thinking, there has never been a more exciting place to deliver services for children and young people. If you have the vision and ambition to join our senior management team and the strategic leadership skills to deliver that key step change in education, we would like to hear from you.
