Transport and Investment Programme Director
Cheshire and Warrington is the best performing economy in the North of England and one of the most successful and fastest growing economies in the country. The Local Enterprise Partnership works closely with both the private and public sectors, championing important issues with government and ultimately driving the economic growth of our sub-region. We aim to double the size of the economy to £50 billion pa by 2040, and we are seeking a Transport and Investment Programme Director to help realise our ambitions.
This is a key role for the LEP, with the successful person taking responsibility for the development and delivery of our transport and wider infrastructure strategy. Candidates will need a record of successful senior leadership within the transport and investment sectors and an ability to build strong teams and relationships in a complex and commercially driven context. You will need experience of developing economic investment projects from initial business case through to delivery, including securing of funding, and exceptional stakeholder and partnership skills. Of course, the ability to work with a variety of public and private sector partners including key bodies such as DfT, TfN, Network Rail, Highways England, etc, will be vital to your success.
